Hi, I took a sunset shot from this place but did not know where it was. I have been wondering for 5 years now where were we when I took that photo. Thank you for posting this photo and indicating that this was a shot of the Angkor Wat moat. And you are right, this place offers a great sunset view. :)

I can't really remember, but I think we organised it with the guesthouse we were staying, the hotel owner recommended some drivers.

Hello, How did you find the driver who went all the way, Osh to Bishkek and did the driver speak English? I've been hunting for a driver to do this in 2 days to allow extra time in Arslanabob for coming week.

We arranged it through our Siem Reap hotel, all the hotels should be able to do it.
I can't really remember the cost, Google says around $20 per person one way.

Hello! I am planning a trip to Cambodia for next month and while searching for boat rides on the Mekong came across your blog--thanks for the info! My contract expired a year later and I went back to Abu Dhabi and now Eastern Europe. Small world.

commented in other page asking if you have visited esfahan and I found it here! I was born in esfahan and raised in England and I absolutely love this city. The sad thing about Iran is the way media represents it! they always show the crappiest part of Iran which exist even in US( where I live now). I wish people could draw a line between politics and ordinary people! The other thing I want to mention if you dont mind is the currency conversion from toman to dollar. In fact 100,000 tomans is $50 ( used to be before recession lol)
